Antioch Spirit Rock
Painting
Spirit rock reservations may be requested by email the month before or the month of the days that you want to paint the rock (ex. if you want to reserve a rock from October 12-13, you may request these dates on or after September 1st.
The spirit rocks may be reserved for 2 days at a time. Options are Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday and Friday/Saturday.
You will receive an email confirmation of your reserved dates. Please notify the PTO if you find that you will not be able to paint the rock during your scheduled dates.
You may begin painting the rock at 2:30 pm on the day before your reserved dates (ex. if the rock is reserved Oct 12-13, you may begin painting the rock on Oct. 11 at 2:30 pm).
Antioch now has 2 spirit rocks with three different options for painting: the Antioch rock, Gator rock/front and the Gator rock/side+back. The "Antioch rock" is the round rock closest to Antioch Church Road. The "Gator rock" is the long flat rock closest to the front doors of the school. The front of the Gator rock is the side that faces Antioch Church Road and the side+back of the Gator rock is the side of the rock plus the area facing the parking lot and doors of the school.
Please email your spirit rock requests to Anne Burns at burns5nc@windstream.net. Please include the following information:
* Parent's name
* Child's name
* Dates requested (1st and 2nd choices)
* Rock Requested (either Antioch rock, Gator rock/front, or Gator rock/side+back)
* Teacher / grade
* Phone number
